What I do today with what happened yesterday determines where I go tomorrow.

My heart is full of gladness today as I remember this season of life. I was in transition and well aware that my choices would determine my future. Those choices included responding in love rather than retaliating. It required thankfulness instead of woe is me. It compelled me to be cautiously daring in faith.

The details do not matter because it is not about the details. I share this photo from my journal entry as a memorial of praise to God who helped me navigate in wisdom from above.

That’s all. There are no fancy words. I’m simply grateful to God for being with me every step of the way.
