I am a dispenser of hope. Why? Because hope in God kept me alive during some pretty crazy times. The Lord anchored my soul with His unWord-able goodness. (Yes. I make up words, especially when words are not enough.) I used to hold up my Bible with tears running down my face. “Some day, Lord, this will come to pass.” I was referring to the first chapter of 2 Corinthians; I would be able to comfort others with the same comfort that I have been comforted with by God. I am still a Work In Progress, yet I can testify. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. How do I know? I am living proof.

One of my favorite places to be is where I serve as a full-time Associate Chaplain in Senior Living (some of the most beautiful people on the planet). I also facilitate retreats with a team of women from different churches in the St. Louis area. You can learn more by visiting Selah Journeys

As far as education goes, I am most grateful for my Honorary Ph.D in Finding Beauty in Ashes from The School of Hard Knocks 🙂 I have a Masters in Counseling from Saint Louis University (SLU) and completed 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). I bring over 20 years full-time service in non-denominational churches providing Congregational Care and Prayer Ministry. I am a Licensed Minister with Open Bible Churches and a Certified Spiritual Director.

And I love my family! Jack & I have been married for 38 years. Together we have 2 adult children; Jesse & Rachel.

I enjoy the simple things of life; faith, family, and friends. I dream… a lot! That comes out when I write, sing & play guitar, and ponder the beauty of ordinary things.

Check out my collection of blog posts when you get a chance. I wrote it for You

I hope to see you back here soon!
