Meet Rosie

This bundle of sweetness is ours!

It’s hard to believe it has been one whole week since we adopted this sweet bundle of delight! Her name is Rosie; often referred to as Rosie Girl, Sweet Rosie, or primarily…. Awwwww Rosie! She is soooo cute!

Your mouth probably dropped open in shock if you know us. Ha! It’s true. I am not an imposter. It’s me, Mary Catherine Meirink; often referred to now as…. Rosie’s Mama.

Thirty-eight years of marriage and we decided to get our first puppy! Wow 🥰 It is incredible how such a small creature can change things. Thank you, Lord! (This post will have many exclamation points!!!)

My Maternity Leave (also know as vacation time) has me bedraggled in appearance with a full heart. I sometimes clean up doggie poop inside the house, but Rosie get lots of treats when she goes poo poo outside. (Good Girl!) Jack built a temporary fence as a more permanent fence is being planned😀. Cookies fill our cookie jar when it is not Christmas, though it feels like Christmas🎄. Our home used to be rather clean and straightened, whereas now doggy toys and blankets and all things Rosie are scattered. Aww Rosie 🌸 Try not to faint on this one… me, the one who does Not like exercise, is going for daily walks. Rosie Girl brings added work while she lessens stress. I am so grateful!

Some things are the same but better. Sweet Rosie joins me for early morning prayer. Comforting music plays more often, because Rosie needs to listen to music 🎶. Joyful laughter is increasing. The birds still sing in the branches as a puppy fills my arms and heart… Aww…. Sweet Rosie…..

I thank the Lord for such a blessing. God is so good!

Mary (also known as Rosie’s Mama)
