Hearing Aids & Eye Glasses

Like it or not, challenging times come to each of us. It’s often in these moments that part of me wants to give God hearing aids or eye glasses. I sometimes wonder if He is close enough to see my tears and hear my cries when sorrows weigh from losses of life.

Yet! I have this assurance from Psalm 34:15

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their cry.

He is the God who sees. He is the God who hears. He is the God who cares. I don’t have to twist His arm to listen. He is ever watchful and attentive.

Challenging times do often require hearing aids and eye glasses, but it’s not God who needs them. It’s me! So, I think on Psalm 34:15 and He comforts and reminds me that… His eyes are on me. His ears are listening. And He cares.

Yes… and He also cares for you, Dear Reader… even you 🙂 Feel like it or not, it is still true.
